Contributor Post from Sheila and Shannon of BeadyEyedBird
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a new little one into our family — my neice’s new baby Scarlett. As closest ‘Auntie’, I get to babysit and cuddle and enjoy all the thrills of an infant and growing baby, and I am thrilled! I loved learning about how my teamies celebrate the beloved babies in their lives and what they offer to help the rest of us celebrate; check it out!

It’s a girl! We are expecting our first granddaughter on Thanksgiving! Little girls like to dress up. Mommies and grandmas like to dress up little girls from hair to shoes! Girls can be expensive. Here’s a chalk elephant bank to savevfor her future. It holds lots of money in this big bank secured with a plug.

After the birth of my son, I was inspired to create this piece after listening to the song “Carry” by Tori Amos. The quote: “here I will carry you forever” deeply resonated with me, and provided the jumping off point for this piece. Ultimately this powerful illustration symbolizes the idea that even after birth, I will always carry my son with me. A beautiful gift for new moms and a precious heirloom for children to come.

There’s nothing like welcoming a new life into the word, full of hope and promise and dimpled cheeks and soft coos. Congrats Sheila and Shannon!
Whenever a new baby arrives in my extended family, the aunts and uncles and cousins go wild decorating the family’s front yard and door with signs and balloons and banners and storks.
Here’s a sweet heart full of baby love to welcome a new girl.

I loved it when I had my babies, recieving hand made items. I especially loved the quilts/blankets that baby could use for play time on the floor.

How about a little positivity hanging in the nursery or child’s room. A simple reminder that you are loved, to be happy, smile, dream, and love your family.

After the excitement of welcoming my own sweet little bundles and now having had the joy of six precious grandchildren, I always feel a little sentimental when I think of a new baby arriving.
Here is a bit of nostalgia for the new one’s nursery decor — “Wish Upon A Star” nursery rhyme collectible plate.

Congrats on your latest addition to your family.
My novelty lady figure cushion is not only a stylish addition to any home but is also perfect for Mums, Dads, and babies because of its unique design which can act as a comfy resting spot for the baby and also act as a comfy neck support for you when you most need it.
Many thanks for all the great shares!
Until next time,
Sheila
