LollysCubbyHole

1. What is the name of your shop and what is unique about your shop?

My shop is LollysCubbyHole & my name is somewhat unique as it is the name my grandchildren call me, “Lolly”. I do a lot of custom requests, for weddings and home decor, farmhouse style.

2. What is your favorite July activity where you live?

July brings the grandchildren to town, so we spend a lot of time on the pond fishing and in the pool. Plus , we take tractor rides around the farm!

3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

Most likely we would return to Paris, France & Italy.

4. Who do you most admire in life?

Living ~ would be my husband. He is kind and patient, and works very hard to improve the lives of those in Haiti. Deceased would be my grandparents, who lovingly raised me.

5. What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?

I always wanted to play the piano in a grand way.. no pun intended! It is such a lovely sound, to have music filling the home. My husband plays and we have two pianos!! ( I have 3 sewing machines, so I can’t complain).

Knit360five

Knit360five

1. What is name of your shop and what is unique about your shop?

Knit360five. The unique thing: items ship out between 1-3 days. That’s a great thing for a knit shop.

2. What is your favorite July activity where you live?

Our block party. Started out very simply and now has turned into quite the summer event. We used to just have a small table outside now we have an eight foot open sided tent, two tables, chairs, benches and a BBQ grill.

3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

We aren’t world traveler types but we decided a few years ago, to follow the Chicago Cubs to an away game at a ballpark we’ve never been to. So far, we’ve done Milwaukee, Denver, Phoenix, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and Cincinnati.

4. Who do you most admire in life?

My mother and my eldest sister for reasons to long to explain but my sister was 12 when she came to live with us and she saved herself from a bad situation. My mother was the only person she could turn to and not only helped her get out but took her and made her a member of the family.

5. What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?

I’d like to learn to sight read music . I sing but I can’t seem to pick up sight reading so I have to work a lot harder at getting songs right. But I also comfort myself with knowing Michael Jackson didn’t read music, either.

1. What is the name of your shop and what is unique about your shop?

Name of shop speaks of what I sell – childhood memories, name of shop is Toysfrom70s.etsy.com. It’s unique for it contains vintage items, recently downsized can’t take it with me. My loss is your gain.

2. What is your favorite July activity where you live?

We have an annual barbecue each year the family just gets bigger and bigger, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, siblings, and friends…..plus it’s the only time family can get together.

4. Who do you most admire in life?

#CIJPopUpMarket #3 Shop – Julie Siomacco from SouthernCharmWreaths

SouthernCharmWreaths

SouthernCharmWreaths

1. What is name of your shop and what is unique about your shop?

The name of my shop is SouthernCharmWreaths where we sell beautiful wreaths and teach you how to make and sell them. The unique thing about my shop is that I teach others how to make and sell the same items that I do, yes be my competition. I mentor others on how to grow their Etsy shops as well as market their wreath creations on different social media platforms using ebooks and ecourses. You see, watching others succeed is my true passion.

2. What is your favorite July activity where you live?

My favorite July activity here in South Carolina, is finding ways to stay cool! I especially like visiting the beautiful and historic South Carolina beaches and touring old plantation homes.

3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

If I could travel anywhere, I would take my family anywhere where we can unplug from technology. When we take cruises, we really enjoy catching up and having fun again because it forces my adult children to unplug and just enjoy each other’s company.

4. Who do you most admire in life?

I most admire my father who has now passed away. He owned his own business in Charlotte, NC for many years and he taught me the power of customer service as well as how teaching your craft is not only a good financial step but a very rewarding one as well.

5. What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?

I would like to learn to paint so that I can make more handmade signs for my wreaths. I think that would help to make them more unique.
