I have a wonderful sewing room with a large cutting table and design wall where I create my quilts! It is bright and sunny or at least as much as can be here in WA state. The room has a large closet where all of my fabrics are stored. Oh and the cutting table has storage for even more fabric!
My husband did most of the work setting up this fantastic room for me!

Our Studio is a small desk in our living room, close to the window where we can enjoy the view when working.

Today we visit the workspace of Savannah Griffith from RareBathandBody who makes Handmade Bath, Body & Beauty Products for Women & Men. Please visit her shop and favourite some items, maybe even buy something!!

Here’s what Savannah has to say about her workspace:

I recently moved, and so I have an entirely new studio space! I still work out of my home, but my studio is now in our second bedroom. It’s been great because the space is more organized, larger, and I can close the door on it at the end of the day, allowing me some much needed separation between home-life and work-life!

I’ve split the space into different workstations, so my desk, my shipping area, my product making and packaging area, my photography area and my two storage areas (wet and dry storage), are all separate and organized with all of the supplies needed to keep my workflow running smoothly!

Today we visit the workspace of Madi from WildandFreePeople who creates feather headpieces, feather jewelry, flower crowns, crystal jewelry and more!

Here’s what Madi has to say about her workspace:

My workspace is split off of my laundry room, it has lots of windows and natural sunlight which I love to keep me inspired with natural elements. I would call it an average size. It’s not tiny but it’s not huge either. Just right I suppose. It is very natural as all the walls are wood which adds to the natural element. I would like to organize it a bit more but for now I am happy with it how it is!

I am Madhura. It’s been 2 years I am hooked by this beautiful art of quilting. Then I got myself a sewing machine and my journey as a quilter started….
Initially my kitchen platform my cutting table and dining table was the place where my machine use to set up. Since 1 year now I have set up a cutting table and sewing place in one small room of our new home in the same apartment. It’s been great fun to work in my new setup and it gives me great comfort in working. I thank my family members for the support and I am thankful as I am doing the work that I love doing.

Today we visit the workspace of Lisajoy Sachs from Saxdsign who sells natural opals, gem stones, other stone supplies for jewellery making. Please visit her shop and favourite some items, maybe even buy something!!

Here’s what Lisajoy has to say about her workspace:

I’ve been in the jewelry designing/making industry for about 20 years now, and before then I was a professional glass blower for 8 years. I’ve pretty much always owned my own business, and consider myself a maker of things.

Right here in the Lovely City of Baltimore I have a really large studio it is about 23×23 feet with 9 foot ceilings – it is JAM packed with lots of projects.

Less than a year ago I learned how to make my own cabochons and do lapidary work – since then I have sold off some of my glass blowing equipment to make room for lapidary equipment, and I even have a hole drilling station now.

My biggest problem is organization – so every couple of weeks I pick a spot to organize – last week was the “Hole drilling” station. I can drill a hole in Most of my cabochons now. It has been such a success for me to be able to add that option for my clients – I am probably drilling holes every day now since the drill press was added to my shop.
