For the Holiday Season I buy some gifts, but I also make quite a few of them. I love creating a special piece for my loved ones and friends. In order to make these DIY gifts I need supplies.
Do you have supplies in your shop that someone like me can use to make our handmade DIY gift?
Sue and Misty from shabbyshopgirls say every little girl needs clothes for her Barbie and handmade Barbie clothes are extra special! My mom used to make Barbie clothes for my sister and I from scraps of fabric she had left over from making clothes for us! Not only did we have special outfits, Barbie had one to match! This particular pattern gets Barbie all dolled up for a special dance or ball! Perfect for the Holidays!
How much fun are these Multi colored natural gemstone beads to make earrings, bracelets and Necklaces. I am sure there are other ways to use these great beads in your creations.
Julie Herbert from EveryoneLovesGiftsO states I have a kids DIY kit, there are other two different kids available. Great for the holiday season to kick start the crafter in children.
This particular one is made with faux pearls, sparkly rhinestone beads and acrylic beads.
This is our most recent pattern, featuring animal ballerinas. This is a fun & girly quilt pattern, intended to help other DIY quilters create a very special gift for a birthday, baby shower, or for Christmas!
Solveiga from Knitwoolsocks discusses I am a socks knitter. I have always enjoyed knitting and love creating pretty things in beautiful colors. I love to see the socks that I am working on begin to take shape and turn into a finished product that someone will enjoy.
This is “Elize” Superwash Yarn, made in Turkey.
“Alize” is a beautifully soft, variegated, fingering / 4ply sock yarn full of color! The sturdy blend of 75% Superwash wool and 25% of nylon means your socks will last, and be easy to care for! The beautiful painted colors are perfect for almost any pattern.
If you love knitting socks then you will love this yarn!
Lee Wards was a wonderful craft store, I remember looking through all their racks of bagged figures and supplies when I was a girl!
These little bottle brush trees are perfect for dioramas or fairy gardens!
Stock Lane Studio from StockLaneStudio states I especially love making holiday gifts with little ones. But now my kids are older and their arts and crafts needs are getting more ‘sophisticated’, especially my daughter who wants to major in art in college. Glad there is a large variety of supplies right here at my fingertips on Etsy.
Gari Anne from beadloverskorner said I have some really cool beads and findings for other beaders and jewelry designers. My favorites are items from Green Girl Studios, they make lead free pewter in some of the coolest designs. This particular one is a focal bead with lips on one side and “Besame Mucho” on the other side.
Dawn Whitehand from DeeDeeDeesigns says these ceramic buttons are handmade by me in my studio. The clay is rolled out and texture applied while the clay is still soft. Each button is individually glazed in a glaze I mix up myself – truly unique! Because these buttons are unique they are ideal to incorporate into a special gift for family or friends.
They can be used to accent knits, hats, bags, bunting, hair accessories – pretty much anything you can think of!!
