The 2015 International Youth Day theme is Youth Civic Engagement. The engagement and participation of youth is essential to achieve sustainable human development. Yet often the opportunities for youth to engage politically, economically and socially are low or non-existent.
International Youth Day is August 12th 2015.
We asked our Christmas in July members did they have any items related to International Youth Day?
If so tell us the story about how it reflects the theme.
Our relationship with our younger customers is really related to skincare. The main issue for boys and girls really comes back to the effects puberty has on their skin and learning how to deal with the changes. We have some products like our clay soaps, White Tea Moisturizer and Acne Treatment Clay Mask that were designed to help teens treat and manage their acne. We are actually working on an infographic that we can share with teens that has information on how to take care of their skin and manage breakouts.
I’m sharing the Acne Treatment Mask because this was a product that I spent a lot of time formulating. I designed it with Sea Clay and Rhassoul Clay to really draw the extra oils and toxins from the skin. Lemon Powder helps to wipe out the bacteria and dirt that gets trapped in the pores and causes breakouts. The mask has to be used more often at first to help get rid of the oil build up, then it can be used once per week or once every other week depending on the users skin type (combination and oily skin should stick with once a week, dry skin can pull back to once every other and focus on moisturizing instead).
