Color trends are a wonderful way to celebrate the seasons!
A mid-tone dove gray; Harbor Mist solidifies the spring 2018 palette.
I designed this quilted fabric postcard myself. It is based on an old National Geographic photo. Fabric postcards are a great way to send a greeting, to friends or family (or just keep it for yourself).
I love delicate shades of gray. It’s a perfect balance for colors in any interior design. Harbor mist is very inspiring. I use these shades as backgrounds for my pastel colleges and drawings. Harbor mist and other shades of gray are also good as a border – passepartout for artistic works on paper. You will find these colors in my shop.
Who knew gray (grey) could have so many different shades yet to me they all evoke a feeling of calm and serenity. This Inukshuk made from stone looks out over mist covered Lake Ontario and was left behind by some visitors to the area. Strength Serenity and a sign of friendship.
I love neutral colors, and the soft gray of “Harbor Mist”, while still a neutral, is a departure from the warmer earth tones that I tend to use on my items. It’s a nice cooler earth tone shade, and I love the way it highlights the under belly of our hand carved wood male Baikal Teal duck!
My Elephant plunger became a reality after I made my Flamingo Plungers for my Florida friends. In one of my Facebook groups, I was given many suggestions of other plungers. The elephant and giraffe were next, then the flower ones. After the flowers came the Poop Happens and Foxy Lady and Foxy Dude. My last request was for a Retro Camper plunger. I made four different Retro Campers so my potential customer would have a choice. That is my last addition to the plunger family. My home is being overrun by plungers!
I am always on the look out for inspirational sayings for my products so when this one came across my path it jumped right at me to make it apart of my collection.
I can do all things is part of Philippians 4:13 and in the world we live in this scripture has great meaning to a lot of us or will if you’re looking for something to hold on to.
This ensemble can be gotten in a lanyard, keychain or dog collar! The gray color makes the wording pop out a great deal!
As I always look for interesting beads, I stumbled across this Dyed Gray Jasper Bead. There is always something about each stone as the colors come out. In this stone, I could see blue. Gray and blue, a fun potato chip spacer and some fire polish, just a fun necklace for the hot summer months! After all isn’t Gray the new Black?
I live in San Francisco and we have daily foggy days. When I found this stone it reminded me of those gloomy beautiful misty afternoons here!
