Tell us about yourself.

My name is Tsvetelina Abadzhieva, I’m fro Bulgaria and I’m the founder of Flos Caeli Shop. After 2 months I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree of Fashion.

When did you open your business and what make you decide to do so?

I made my Etsy shop the day after I turned 18 because of documents and stuff (6 years ago) but I participated in many craft fairs before that with my handmade accessories.

Tell us a bit about your products.

I make women accessories – headbands and makeup bags with colorful fabric designs and patterns that could not be passed by.

What inspires your work

It’s very different for what I’m making. If I’m designing clothes I like to go trough fashion magazines, trends for the next season, art galleries. If I’m making accessories for my shop the inspiration comes from colorful fabrics and I just go shopping.

What are your future goals for the business this year? What is your dream for this business?

I never thought that 6 years after I’ll have that many sales international;y and my headbands will be liked by that many people so it’s a dream come true right now. I wish to keep growing and make many more cool designs.

What makes your business stand out from businesses that sell similar products?

Hmm… maybe my major in fashion played a role in my taste because I think I know how to mix fabrics.

Tell us a bit about your work space. Do you have a separate studio?

I’ve started by buying my first sewing machine all alone in school, I was working back then and sewing in all of my free time on my computer desk in my room. After that I had a special desk made to store all of my fabrics with shelves and now my 3 sewing machines in separate room.

What have you learned since opening your business that you wish you had known before hand?

I’ve learned so many things in the process about photographing, seo, photo editing and etc. but maybe I would be grateful if someone told me that “You have to make more to make more”.

Any advice for those thinking about selling on Etsy?

Do not hesitate try it and maybe it will be your thing. If it is – it wil change your life and way of thinking.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do to unwind and have fun? Do you have any hobbies?

My job is my hobby when I don’t make clothes I make accessories and I really like to travel it’s really inspiring and vital for me.

What is your favorite quote?

‘Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is Art.’ -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Where can people find out more about your business?

I have all social media stuff – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest but maybe I like most Instagram! Find me at floscaeli!

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Do not quit your dreams and keep working every single day!
