Mom and Pop Business Day

Contributor post by Alicia from AliciasFindings

Mom and Pop Business (otherwise known as Small Business) is a day to celebrate all of us who are running one.

Here at Christmas in July we want to know how you will celebrate this day?

Stock Lane Studio from  StockLaneStudio says I honor this day by trying to go to a local market or craft fair and/or only shopping a small locally owned brick and mortar stores. Here are some open/closed signs made by a small shop owner (ME!) to keep those other small shops functioning well!

Richard and Tatiana from DesignsTheLimit said successful people always have a pen and a place to write important information down. We find the sentiment no less true today in spite of all of the technology trying to replace it. There may be a day when pens are no longer needed, but today pens keep small business innovating. Small business today has the challenge of competing in the big box store world and sharpening pencils can come in handy too.

Our memo holder is available with a pen, pencil, or letter opener. This has always been one of our most popular gifts for teachers, coworkers, graduates, and loved ones. The memo holder offers the perfect canvas for custom order requests or you can include one of our monogram design and font combinations.

We will celebrate a small business holiday doing what small business does, working! We have new pictures, new designs, and new listings we are rolling out and there are never enough hours in the day. Richard and Tatiana of Design’s the Limit in Virginia Beach.
