Random Acts of Kindness Day

Contributor post by Alicia from AliciasFindings

This day is all about showing people you care about them, by performing some act of kindness.

Here at Christmas in July we want to know how could you make another CIJ members day?

Richard and Tatiana from DesignsTheLimit says we are in business and have to work hard for our success, but we try to give back as often as we can. We even have a listing to encourage our customers to perform random acts of kindness and encourage our altruism. The opportunity for random acts of kindness are everywhere, you just have to look around to see them.

We offer donation matching and any customer can choose to donate as little as $1.00 or as much as $10.00 with any purchase in our shop and we will donate 100% of the money donated and match their donation as well.

We joined the Etsy Giving Team shortly after opening our shop on Etsy, but as the prototype has never developed we took action. If you would like to make a donation with your next purchase, we pay the Etsy seller fees, donate the amount you select, match your donation, and can make your donation in an individuals honor or tag/notify you when the donation is made. We can all make a difference, one person at a time.

Alicia from AliciasFindings states that I purchase members work as often as I can to make their day. It is not only because I need or love the item, but because it helps their business and brings a smile to their face when they hear (or see) that cha-ching!

I also do a lot of “mentoring” on Etsy. I love to help share any knowledge that I have on a wide variety of topics. It brings me joy and gives others something new to learn, do or to implement.
