Home Cooking
Eating out is out! Cooking at home is in.
Here at Christmas in July team we wanted to know do you have any items related to Home Cooking and what the story behind the item is.
Dawn Whitehand from DeeDeeDeesigns says:
My shop is all about home cooking, food presentation and sharing food with family and friends.
My ceramic wares are oven to table, and are microwave safe, oven safe & dishwasher safe – so you can cook a pie or casserole and serve it immediately to the table and then clean up in the dishwasher – easy and dinner party friendly!
This bowl is ideal for baking a pie, cooking casseroles, serving salads and anything else you can think of in the kitchen…
I have lots of other home cooking wares in my store so visit and take a peek
Sue and Misty from shabbyshopgirls states:
One of the things we LOVE to collect is vintage Cookbooks! We have many available, but this is one of our favorites and a classic that every bride must have received for her wedding from the 40’s to the 60’s and is still popular today! If you don’t have a copy of The Joy of Cooking, your kitchen is just not complete!
Arlene from ThisandThatCrafter says:
A classic and fun way to eat at home is to BBQ. It is a great way to have very tasty food and on hot days you don’t have to heat up the kitchen with cooking. A great way to eat at home instead of going out on a hot day. Here is a great vintage book on Betty Crocker Best Recipes for Grilling. This book is from 1989 and has lots of great recipes in it.
Thanks for the include!
